Result on November 7, 2026:<\/p><ul><li><strong>31 outgoing connections<\/strong> to three WP Rocket servers (<code>api.wp-rocket.me<\/code>, <code>saas.wp-rocket.me<\/code>, <code>b.rucss.wp-rocket.me<\/code>)<\/li><li>Among other things, the page addresses, the license account&#8217;s email address and the license key were sent. According to the request, the pages were handed to the service for &#8220;performance_hints&#8221;.<\/li><li>Some of these requests ran before the license check had succeeded.<\/li><\/ul><p>This isn&#8217;t an accusation: these features need that exchange. But you should know it happens, for example for your privacy policy. A detailed test will follow as its own article.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d94f6d0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d94f6d0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What it doesn't do<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-76b86eb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"76b86eb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>It makes <strong>no outside connections<\/strong> of its own. No update server of its own, no statistics, no account.<\/li><li>It never stores license keys, tokens or passwords. Email and IP addresses are masked.<\/li><li>Normal page views are not logged. For interface access, IP addresses are shortened.<\/li><li>Everything stays in your database and is deleted after 30 days (adjustable). Stored: server, path without parameters, method, status, duration, size, blocking yes\/no.<\/li><li><strong>Attribution:<\/strong> via <code>debug_backtrace<\/code>. &#8220;Source&#8221; is the file that calls the HTTP function. If that&#8217;s WordPress itself (update checks, for example), the plugin that started it is listed as <code>triggered_by<\/code>.<\/li><li><strong>Incoming:<\/strong> <code>rest_post_dispatch<\/code>, <code>xmlrpc_call<\/code>, <code>admin_init<\/code> for Ajax without sign-in, <code>init<\/code> for <code>wp-cron.php<\/code> from outside IPs. The owning plugin file is found via reflection on the callback. Your own browser session and the site calling itself are hidden by default.<\/li><li><strong>Data kinds:<\/strong> pattern matching on the sent content (site address, admin email, versions, plugin list, theme, language, server details, license key). Field names like <code>key<\/code>, <code>token<\/code>, <code>license<\/code>, <code>password<\/code> are always redacted.<\/li><li><strong>Reason:<\/strong> a guess based on address and content, marked &#8220;probably&#8221; in the interface.<\/li><li><strong>Storage:<\/strong> one table <code>{prefix}bnc_log<\/code>, one write per request at <code>shutdown<\/code>, daily cleanup via WP-Cron.<\/li><li><strong>Limits:<\/strong> requests that bypass WordPress (custom cURL, sockets, <code>file_get_contents<\/code> with a URL) can&#8217;t be caught reliably by any PHP plugin.
